Formula Woman Newsletter - 21st February 2023

Last week was a busy week hence no newsletter, so we apologise.

With our First Training day of the year at Brands Hatch and the ongoing ice driver training in Sweden, Formula Woman has got off to a cracking start!

Two members of our GT team were also announced as Motorsport UK Academy drivers and the 2022 competition winners Alana Carter and Eliza Seville started their training in Sweden.

Nations Cup drivers from next week will be receiving a separate newsletter and this week’s newsletter contains something for everyone…..

UK TRACK DAYS

The UK track day training dates are in high demand as we only take 6 drivers per day, so if you’re itching to get started, the following dates and venues are available;

  • 20th March - Croft (North Yorkshire)

  • 20th April - Snetterton (Norfolk)

  • 8th to 10th May – 3 day boot tour

The above are for both academy and non-academy members but priority will be given to all paid-up academy members.

NATIONS CUP TRAINING CAMP

The first five-day training camp will be held in the UK  - June 19th to 23rd solely for those drivers who have been selected to compete in The Middle East Nations Cup event. Only six places are  available and includes;

  • Professional kart training and data study

  • Simulator Training

  • Track driving in five levels of cars with coaching

  • Lotus test track

  • Commercial partner and personal sponsor acquisition & activation

  • Evening seminars

  • Accommodation and meals

NORTH AMERICA & AUSTRALIA

Currently, licenced courses and track days are being organised in both North America and Australia and scheduled to take place in May.

ICE DRIVING

We are now coming to the end of the Ice Driving season, which has been extremely successful for all the Formula Woman ladies who have attended and those who are attending next weekend.

Alana Carter and Eliza Seville now have amazing car control and in the shoot out they beat all the men on the course with ease!

We are taking bookings for February 2024 and places are filling up already! So stake your claim on an ice driving weekend!
