Formula Woman Newsletter - 22nd December 2022
This is our last newsletter of 2022 and believe it or not it is our 100th! To round off the year, here is a pictoral review of some of the things we all got up to in 2022.
From all of us at Formula Woman, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
See you in 2023 for some more motorsport action!
What a year we have had, 2022 started with the finals of last year's competition in which we used the fabulous Vauxhall Corsa-e, and ran the finals at PFI kart circuit.
Last year's Shoot Out took place in Sweden where we announced our four winners, who all went on to compete in the GT Cup Championship driving the Trade Centre sponsored McLaren 570s GT4 race cars.
Not only did the ladies meet Mark Bailey, founder of The Trade Centre Group, at the opening of their new Car Supermarket in Small Heath, Birmingham, but also at Donington they met 1996 F1 World Champion Damon Hill.
We have received tremendous support from both Trade Centre UK and Trade Centre Wales and their two training BMWs have been seen throughout the year at most of our events.
We also welcomed Alicia Barrett to our race team for 2023 and the Jaguar Project 8 got a make over at the Sleeping With Art event.
The year culminated with the 2022 Formula Woman Competition taking place at Bedford Autodrome in the new Vauxhall Astra, sponsored by Wealth Club Coin.
We crowned our new competition winners Eliza Seville (England) and Alana Carter (Canada) who will join our existing team in 2023.
