The 2022/23 Formula Woman competition concluded this week with two new winners. Congratulations to Eliza Seville and Alana Carter for everyone at Formula Woman.

Please read our press release below that was distributed this morning.

The 2022/23 Formula Woman winners were announced last night as the top ten took on a series of tests in a close-fought competition for the two places in the Formula Woman race team.

After a gruelling series of tests at Bedford Autodrome, over 200 applicants were whittled down to fifty who were then reduced further to the Top Ten Shoot Out.

Over 23 different countries were represented in this year’s competition, powered by social media, Formula Woman reached many parts of the world and brought together many like-minded women all hoping to win the ultimate prize, to compete in GT Cup next year.

This year’s assessments included a driving test in the latest Vauxhall Astra, karting, fitness, sponsor awareness, media, and a written test.

The countries represented in the Top Ten Shoot Out were England, France, Hong Kong, Australia and Canada. The ten finalists were pushed further as they took to the track to set a series of lap times driving the Trade Centre UK BMWs. The competition was tough, with the top five covered by only a couple of seconds.

After much deliberation, the two overall winners of the 2022/23 competition were announced as Eliza Seville (England) and Alana Carter (Canada).

Hector Rodriguez Curbelo from Wealth Club Coin presented the two champions with their trophies and 10,000 Bitcoins each, whilst the eight runners-up received 1,000 Bitcoins each.

The Nations Cup selection was also completed in the afternoon with an assessed driving test in the Vauxhall Astras, with 20 countries qualifying for the Autumn 2023 Cup, which will be held overseas, and further details will be announced shortly.

Eliza and Alana will join last year’s champions and will be trained, guided and managed as they prepare for the GT Cup championship in 2023.

Eliza Seville, Formula Woman 2022/23 Winner, “This feels really incredible. I have been on quite a journey, having got to the final ten last year and missed out, I refocused and worked harder, which has all paid off.”
“I can’t wait to get on track and will now be preparing with lots of track and simulator time so I am as well prepared as possible for GT Cup next year.”

Alana Carter, Formula Woman 2022/23 Winner, “It’s a huge honour to have won. It has been a tough competition and to have been selected from such a worthy group of girls is incredible. I am very excited.”
“I am so glad to have taken part, I met Erika, who won last year, back home in Canada and she encouraged me to have a go. So I did my assessment at Calabogie Motorsports Park with 17 other women and got through. It’s like a dream come true, it’s been crazy, so I am going to go home, enjoy the moment and work hard to prepare for the GT Cup.”
