NEXT SUNDAY - OCTOBER 16TH PM
KARTING AT DAYTONA RACEWAY, MILTON KEYNES

Join us for a Sunday karting race at Daytona Raceway on the 16th of October. Meet some fellow Formula Woman ladies and enjoy some “friendly” competition with our boot tour competitors.

And who knows, maybe bring home a 1st place trophy. Let’s see what you’ve got!

Timetable: 10 minute practice / 2 x 10 minute heats / 15 minute final race.
Arrival Time: 12:40

Please note that bookings can be made only on a first come first served basis, so if you wish to make a booking we suggest you do so sooner rather than later.

ASSESSMENT DAY INFORMATION

Anyone that hasn’t booked their assessment day, please do so by contacting mara@f1.co.uk . For those of you that have, here is the general timetable for the day. It will be a full day with six tests, so please do arrive on time.

More information will be sent out to you prior to your assessment day.

12.00 Lunch
13.00 Further Assessments
16:30 Debrief
17:00 Departure

UK ASSESSMENT DAY - HOTEL SPECIAL RATES

We have some great news to announce. Our Formula Woman applicants will get a special rate at The Sharnbrook Hotel. It’s the closest hotel to the Bedford Autodrome and we’ve had very good reviews from last year.

It’s £78 (including VAT) a night. Includes a ‘takeaway breakfast bag’ consisting of a yoghurt, choc-au-pain pastry or a breakfast bar with orange juice.

Rooms are held up to the 28th of October. So please make your reservations directly before then.

INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIVES AND PIECE TO CAMERA

To get to know you and inspire other women on our social media platforms, we would like to ask our new applicants to make a Piece to Camera.

It would be a short video introducing yourselves, letting us know why you applied to Formula Woman, what drew you to motorsports and anything else you might think is important to add. Once you’ve finished filming the video, please send it to jodie@f1.co.uk

Currently we have strong representation from the USA, France, Australia and Portugal. We are also currently looking for new International Representatives to add to our current team.

ICE DRIVING IN SWEDEN

Earlier this year 11 Formula Woman finalists attended a ‘shoot out’ against the clock in a selection of all wheel drive performance vehicles. 4 winners were selected and have now become semi-professional race drivers.

In February 2023 Formula Woman will have a variety of courses available for individuals, partners, friends, groups and corporates.
