As we are getting closer to the assessment days and the demand for training is high, the following events will be the only training days available prior to the assessments with Formula Woman. Please read the next news item carefully so as not to miss out.

TRAINING, ASSESSMENT AND FINALS DIARY DATES

These are the only training days available prior to the assessments with Formula Woman.

TRAINING DAYS:
Monday 1st November - Snetterton track day with one to one instruction
Monday 7th November - Bedford track day with one to one instruction
Sunday 13th November - Snetterton Jaguar track day with one to one instruction
Thursday 17th November to Saturday 19th November - final Boot Tour
(Throughout this Boot Tour there will be opportunities for independent days with karting on 17th, iZone on 18th and track instruction on 19th)
Monday 21st November - car control day in Lotus Emiras at the Lotus test track
 
ASSESSMENTS DAYS:
Wednesday 23rd November - Bedford assessment day
Thursday 24th November - Bedford assessment day
Wednesday 30th November - Bedford assessment day
 
FINALS:
Monday 5th of December - 50 finalists
Wednesday 7th December - Nations Cup selection
 

JAGUAR TRACK DAY
 
Some of you are keen to get behind the wheel of one of our Project 8 Jaguars, well guess what… you can. The training day will be held on the 13th of November at Snetterton. The day will include four sessions with instruction. For further details contact:

LOTUS CAR CONTROL DAY IN NORFOLK
 
Enjoy a day on track in the new Lotus Emira.
 
Find out your limits at the Lotus test track where you will learn more about oversteer and understeer, efficient braking, vision and smoothness.

LAST BOOT TOUR OF THE YEAR
 
Following the success of our boot tours, the last one we will do this year will be from the 17th to 19th November which is ideal for those who have managed to find a personal sponsor to prepare well for your assessment.

For those who don’t know what the boot tour is, it's a three-day two nights accommodation based close to Silverstone and Bedford Autodrome.
It comprises of karting, on track instruction, simulator training in the McLaren and accommodation and meals at Chicheley Hall Hotel. Incredibly good value, limited places available and the chance to learn about mind performance and sponsorship.

BMW TRACK DAYS
 
For those of you that haven’t had a chance to complete a BMW track day with us, these are available either on a half day or full day basis.  The assessment days are getting closer and closer.
 
1st November - BMW Track Day at Snetterton
19th November - Bedford Track Day (BMW’s, Ginetta G40 and Jaguar Project 8)

WHATSAPP GROUPS
 
WhatsApp groups are spreading across the world. They are a great place to get to know your fellow Formula Woman applicants and maybe even meet up for a cup of coffee or a day of karting.

RUSH HOUR KARTING IN NORTH CAROLINA, USA
 
We would like to introduce you to Rush Hour Karting - an all indoor, high speed karting facility. 
 
The track is 1/3 mile road-style race track with hairpins, straightways and chicanes. The karts are Sodi RX8’s, capable of speeds up to 40MPH. They also have a great restaurant / sports bar overlooking the track and other fun activities such as Ax Throwing, Rock Wall Climbing, Video Games, Pool Tables, Ping Pong, etc…

First assessment day went extremely well at Calabogie Motorsports Park and the competition was strong. The organizers now have a difficult task of deciding who goes through to the finals.

CHRISTMAS KARTING EVENT AND DINNER & AWARDS
 
The Christmas  karting will take place at PFI near Grantham on Sunday the 11th December and will be a full day of practice, qualifying and racing, both GP events and endurance race.
 
The awards will take place at the nearby Belton Woods Hotel and accomodation is available to everyone too tired to drive home.

SLEEPING WITH ART

Today is the last day of Sleeping with Art at Hedsor House, where Formula Woman took the Project 8 Jaguar for a make over.

Here is the car in its new livery, doesn't it look fantastic!
