Formula Woman Newsletter - 18th August 2022

The big news this week is the UK Assessments days, so please read the following article very carefully to ensure you do not miss out on the opportunities presented.

There also limited places on our trackdays, an early chance to register for the next Boot Tour and an exciting idea to get you more involved through social media.

And, here is another video by Downshift Media for you to enjoy CLICK HERE

UK ASSESSMENT DAYS 2022

For our members from the UK, the initial assessment days will be 23rd November and 24th November. These will be held at Bedford Autodrome.

For members from Europe and overseas who are travelling to the UK, your assessment day will be 30th November at the same venue Bedford Autodrome (nearest airports are Luton and Stansted).

The UK assessment days are open to members who have joined since 18thSeptember 2021, plus those who were unable to attend last year and asked to postpone until 2022.

Also, we are offering a “Second Chance” to those of you who did not get through to the second stage last time. If you are one of these people and wish to apply, the places are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. For the Second Chance people there will be a fee of £75 to pay to partly cover our costs.

Unlike last year, we now need you to contact us with your preferred day and we will do our best to accommodate you on that day. We are restricted on numbers per day, so again first come first served. We will confirm your place in due course, once we are in a position to do so.

If you are unable to attend and wish to delay until next year, we are quite happy for you to do that, but please let us know.

If we do not hear from you, we will have to assume that you no longer wish to take part.

You will be driving cars and karts, helmets and suits will be available and lunch will be provided on the day. You need to make your own travel arrangements and accommodation if needed.

For all applicants who have secured their own personal sponsors, you will be invited to do a piece to camera wearing your sponsors branded merchandise (T shirt, cap, jacket etc).

Final Instructions and Indemnity Forms etc will be emailed to you approximately three weeks before the event, and these must be completed and submitted back to us online at least seven days before your Assessment.

So please book your place by contacting;

INTERNATIONAL WHATSAPP GROUPS

This is a new idea developed by Mara and Shloka who are dealing with all the international applications. We have had quite a number of international applicants wanting to get more involved, so we have come up with WhatsApp groups for each country.

If you are a new competitor or even one from last year, please get in touch to see how we can grow the Formula Woman community across the globe. For further info contact;
